History
The State Highway 3-A Bridge at Plum Creek near Luling was built in 1931 with a Parker through truss main span and a long series of concrete deck-girder approach spans totaling more than 1,000 feet. It carried State Highway 3-A (later US 90/US 183) about three miles southeast of Luling and is documented under the Historic Bridges of Texas, 1866-1945 multiple-property listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
