History

Eula Cemetery serves the community of Eula in western Callahan County, about seven miles southwest of Clyde, which gained a post office in 1889 with W. B. Ferguson as postmaster. The cemetery lies roughly a mile east of the old Eula School and holds close to 900 burials. Before it was established, area settlers such as Bob Kelton, who died in 1888, were buried at the nearby Seaton Cemetery.
