History

Bivins Community Cemetery serves the sawmill town of Bivins, about seven miles south of Atlanta on State Highway 43, a settlement that took its name from J. Knox Bivins, who operated the local sawmill. The burial ground holds roughly 190 recorded graves and was formally documented by a team of Cass County researchers in October 1995.
