History

Meador Cemetery is located on Highway 204 about three miles east of Jacksonville and is named for the Meador family. Catalogued in 1972 and surveyed in 2000, it holds burials from families including the Meador, Acker, and Anderson families, with some of the earliest graves dating to the early 19th century.
