Its graves reach back to at least 1849 for pioneer families such as the Lackeys, Parkers, Roberts, Stearns, and Sturmans, and when the cemetery was surveyed in February 1974 some twenty-three unmarked graves were recorded among the marked stones. Its records have been preserved through the San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society.
