The Board-Everett House is a historic McKinney residence listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the late 1980s as one of some fifty individual properties documented under the "Historic Resources of McKinney" multiple property submission. That submission recognized the city's dense concentration of late-nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century homes for their architectural significance.
