History
The R. L. Waddill House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 8, 1987, as part of the Historic Resources of McKinney multiple property submission. It stands within the historic residential neighborhood roughly bounded by West Lamar, North Benge, West Louisiana, and North Oak streets that anchors much of the city's surviving nineteenth-century architecture.
