History

Heimer Cemetery is a small family burial ground on the shores of Canyon Lake in Comal County, holding the graves of German settler Michael Heimer and his second wife. Now set aside as a lot within a modern subdivision's Waterfront Park, its decayed original stones were replaced by descendants around 1989, and a new marker was dedicated on May 20, 2018. It is registered as a Historic Texas Cemetery (CM-C086).
