History

The Randlett House in Lancaster was built by S.D. Andrews for Sam Randlett, a prominent local merchant, and completed in 1896. The two-story Victorian home has an asymmetrical plan, projecting wings, a complex roofline and detailed woodwork that reflected the Randlett family's social standing. Added to the National Register in 1978, it is one of three National Register properties in Lancaster.
