History
Grace Methodist Episcopal Church (now Grace United Methodist Church) at 4105 Junius Street was built in 1903 and is an excellent example of Gothic Revival design with prominent stained glass, credited to St. Louis architect W.A. Caan. The congregation, among the oldest Methodist congregations in Dallas County, formed in 1902 through the merger of the Floyd Street and Haskell Avenue churches. An educational unit was added in a 1925 remodeling, and the church was listed on the National Register in 1982.
