The Frontiers of Flight Museum is an aerospace museum at Dallas Love Field, founded in 1988 and rooted in aviation historian George Haddaway's collection, donated in 1963 and later held at UT Dallas. After beginning in the Love Field terminal in 1990, the museum opened its current 100,000-square-foot building on Lemmon Avenue in June 2004. A Smithsonian Affiliate, it displays historically important aircraft and one-of-a-kind treasures such as the Vought V-173 "Flying Pancake" and the Apollo 7 command module.
