Arizona College of Nursing's roots go back to 1991 and the Arizona School of Pharmacy Technology, a Scottsdale school started by local pharmacists to meet demand for trained pharmacy staff. Acquired by Eduvision in 1996, it became Arizona College of Allied Health, took the name Arizona College in 2012, and launched its Bachelor of Science in Nursing program under the Arizona College of Nursing name in 2013. The school opened its Dallas campus, devoted entirely to nursing, in August 2018 at 8330 LBJ Freeway beside the High Five Interchange, and its first cohort started an accelerated three-year BSN program that October. The campus was built around high-fidelity simulation labs, nursing skills labs and a science lab, and it is one of more than two dozen Arizona College of Nursing campuses across the country.
