History
The Sue S. Bancroft Women's Leadership Hall at Texas Woman's University in Denton is an exhibit dedicated to the leadership and legacy of Texas women in politics and public policy, among the first such halls in the state and nation. Part of the Jane Nelson Institute for Women's Leadership, it occupies the grand entrance of the historic Old Main administration building, where a replica of the Louvre's Winged Victory of Samothrace greets visitors. It is named for community and arts leader Sue Schrier Bancroft, a former chair of the TWU Board of Regents.
