History
Saint Paul's Episcopal Church at 308 North Monroe Street is Waxahachie's oldest church building, a Gothic Revival structure completed in the mid-1880s and dedicated by pioneer Bishop Alexander C. Garrett in 1885. It was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1965 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The Episcopal congregation departed in 2002, after which the building housed St. Athanasius Anglican Church (2003–2021) and then Consecrated Grace Anglican Church.
