History

The Jones Family Cemetery sits on private land in southwestern Falls County and is tied to early settler Churchill Jones (born 1805 in Virginia), who bought a large tract here in 1849 and built a plantation in the Middle Brazos River valley. Members of the Jones family who settled the area in the mid-19th century are interred at the site.
