History

Mustang Prairie Cemetery serves the small Mustang Prairie community in eastern Falls County, between Bremond and Kosse. Its earliest dated burial is that of seven-year-old Laura M. Jones in 1869, and by the late 20th century only the cemetery and the New Hope Baptist Church, established in 1872, marked the community.
