History

Cedar Valley Cemetery is a historic African American burial ground east of Chilton in southern Falls County, reached by way of County Road 415 off State Highway 7. Its graves span the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries and reflect the Black farming families who worked the land in the Deer Creek and Chilton area.
