History
St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery near Ellinger, in the Ross Prairie community of Fayette County, was established about 1854 and served the area's German Lutheran settlers. The Texas Historical Commission designated it a Historic Texas Cemetery and placed its marker in 2008.
