History
The OS Museum in Post displays the art and artifacts gathered worldwide by the late Giles McCrary and his wife, whose family has long owned the nearby OS Ranch. Assembled during travels to more than 130 countries, the rotating collection includes coins, stamps, textiles, rugs, paintings, sculpture, and jade. The museum occupies a meeting room in the building C.W. Post erected in 1911 as offices of his land and cattle company; the OS Ranch itself dates to about 1884.
