History

Burris Cemetery is a small family burial ground about three miles south of Belmont on the west side of the Guadalupe River, along the old Luling–Leesville road. It is also recorded under the names Littlefield-Burrows and Burris/Bond Cemetery, reflecting the pioneer families interred there. The site is documented in Gonzales County's historic cemetery records.
