History

This is the DuBose-Hinton-Haven Cemetery, a family burial ground on U.S. Highway 183 about 6.5 miles southeast of Gonzales in Gonzales County. It holds members of the pioneer DuBose, Hinton, and Haven families of the area and is marked by a highway sign. The cemetery was inventoried in 1967 by Mrs. Josephine DuBose Hinton, a descendant of the founding families.
