History
Kentuckytown Baptist Church was founded on February 9, 1852, and is recognized as the oldest Baptist church in Grayson County. It grew up with the small farming community of Kentucky Town, located off Highway 11 between Whitewright and Tom Bean. The congregation continues to worship at the site, which is documented in the Texas Historical Commission's records.
