History

On the Kilgore College campus, the Rangerette Showcase & Museum documents the Kilgore College Rangerettes, the pioneering precision drill team founded in 1940 by Gussie Nell Davis to entertain football halftime crowds. The museum displays original uniforms, costumes from the annual Rangerette Revels show, thousands of photographs, and film of performances, and includes a lounge honoring Davis. Admission is free.
