History
This is among the oldest surviving structures in Seguin, associated with early Texas Ranger Robert Hall (1814-1899), who with other rangers helped found the town in 1838. Hall built his home beside the Walnut Branch near the present corner of Travis and Nolte Streets. The house exhibits Greek Revival influences and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
