History

Established in 1981 and opened in 1983, the Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum preserves the agricultural heritage of the region in a restored 1911 Santa Fe depot and a 1907 farmhouse along with other historic buildings. Exhibits include restored antique tractors, vintage farm equipment, windmills, a Santa Fe caboose, and Native American artifacts found in the area.
