The Hardin County Courthouse in Kountze is a Modern-style building completed in 1959 by the architecture firm Dickson, Dickson & Associates and constructed of brick. It was preceded by three earlier courthouses, built in 1859, 1872, and 1904, none of which survive. The building was renovated in 1978.
