History

Joplin Fairview Cemetery sits in southeastern Jack County just north of the small community of Joplin on Highway 199. It takes its name from the Fairview School and Baptist Church that once served the Joplin area, and a state historical marker at the site recounts that community's history. The grounds, which include a central pavilion, remain a documented and maintained Jack County cemetery.
