History

Lost Creek Cemetery lies in central Jack County just east of Jacksboro, reached by traveling east on Highway 59 past Lake Jacksboro into what was historically the J. D. Craft pasture. It is one of the county's older rural burial grounds along Lost Creek, its graves documented in Jack County's cemetery transcription project. The site remains a maintained community cemetery serving families of the surrounding area.
