Hebert Cemetery, also known as the Blanchette-Hebert or Hebert Family Cemetery, lies south of Beaumont on land tied to the family of Joseph Hebert, an Acadian who arrived in Jefferson County in 1842 and became one of the county's largest cattlemen. The pioneer family burial ground is documented in the Jefferson County Historical Commission's cemetery records.
