The Kinney County Courthouse in Brackettville was completed about 1911 to the Beaux-Arts Classicism design of L. L. Thurmon & Company of Dallas, its buff brick accented with D'Hanis red-brick banding and corner quoins and built by the Falls City Construction Company of Louisville. It was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2003.
