History
St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church was established in 1875 as the first church in Brackettville, the seat of Kinney County. Its parish registers reach back to that year, documenting the community from before Kinney County was formally organized in 1876. The church continues to serve Brackettville at West El Paso and South Ann streets.
