History
The Church of the Immaculate Conception in the Czech community of St. Mary's, on FM 2672, was built in 1896 and is one of the Painted Churches of Texas. Its interior received decorative painting associated with San Antonio artists working in the region in the early twentieth century. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
