The Dr Pepper Museum occupies the 1906 Artesian Manufacturing and Bottling Company building in downtown Waco, the first structure built to bottle Dr Pepper, designed by architect Milton Scott in the Romanesque style with 18-inch-thick brick walls. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the "Home of Dr Pepper," it opened as a museum in May 1991 and has since grown a collection of more than 300,000 artifacts, drawing over three million visitors.
