History

Holy Cross Cemetery on LaSalle Avenue in Waco is the Catholic burial ground of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, the oldest Catholic parish in the city, founded in 1869. Enclosed by antique iron fencing and shaded by mature trees, the cemetery has served Waco's Catholic community for generations as one of the parish's long-standing institutions.
