Hayes Cemetery is the oldest burial ground in the Snow Hill area of Morris County, near the Titus County line northwest of Daingerfield. Its earliest recorded grave is that of infant Clementine Butler, who died in 1859, and dozens of other burials are marked only by rocks or ground depressions. The cemetery is cared for alongside the nearby Snow Hill Cemetery.
