History
Built by the Southern Pacific line and opened in April 1911, this depot replaced an earlier wooden station that had burned less than a year after being struck by lightning. Passenger service through Nacogdoches ended in 1954, and the building now houses a transportation museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
