History
Built in 1902 by banker Jimmy Ochiltree Sims, whose father had come to Orange to work in the booming lumber industry, this house has been restored to its 1919 appearance and now serves as the Heritage House Museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
