Staggs Prairie Cemetery lies on the prairie northeast of Mineral Wells in Palo Pinto County. Among those buried here is Sam Savage (1861-1951), a rancher, farmer and champion fiddler who also served the county as deputy sheriff, justice of the peace, deputy postmaster and clerk.
