History

New Boggy Cemetery lies in eastern Panola County on County Road 322, just off US Highway 79 north of Carthage, directly across the road from the New Boggy Baptist Church it has long served. The cemetery preserves the burials of families of this small rural farming community and is documented in Panola County cemetery surveys.
