History

Santa Rosa Cemetery lies on the eastern side of Pecos, the seat of Reeves County, and is known locally as the East Pecos or Eastside Cemetery. Long tied to the town's Catholic community and Santa Rosa Catholic Church, it holds more than a thousand recorded burials and remains one of the principal Hispanic burial grounds in the Pecos area.
