History
The Moore Grocery Company Building was constructed in 1912 near the railroad tracks in downtown Tyler, a one-story buff-brick structure with basement and mezzanine built in the Chicago Commercial style. It later passed to Brookshire Brothers, which acquired Moore Grocery in 1952, and today the rehabilitated building houses the Moore Grocery Lofts. It is a contributing resource of the Tyler Downtown Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
