History
South Side Masonic Lodge No. 1114 was chartered in Fort Worth on December 6, 1915, the fifth Masonic lodge in the city. In 1924 the lodge built a three-story Classical Revival building at 1301 West Magnolia designed by James B. Davies, Sr., combining a Masonic meeting hall with rentable commercial and office space. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, the building was renovated in 1986 and renamed the Magnolia Centre.
