History

The White Settlement Historical Museum was founded in 1991 to document the history of White Settlement and the early pioneers of the area west of Fort Worth. Its exhibits include an 1864 log cabin along with photographs, documents, and artifacts covering the region's settlers as well as African American communities and the Tonkawa people. Operated with the local historical society, the museum offers free admission.
