History

Bluff Creek Cemetery lies in southwestern Taylor County on the south side of the Callahan Divide, near Bluff Creek and the site of the vanished community of Moro. Its burials reach back to the pioneer settlement era of the late 19th century, when ranching families first moved into the county's southwest. It is listed among Taylor County's historic cemeteries and remains a small rural burial ground marking that early settlement.
