History
Completed in 1927 at 201 South Chadbourne Street, the eight-story San Angelo National Bank Building was designed by architect Anton F. Korn in the Classical Revival style and long stood as a prominent feature of the city's skyline. Its lobby is finished with Corinthian columns, and the reinforced concrete and masonry tower was considered one of the least-altered Classical Revival buildings in West Texas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
