History
The R. Wilbur Brown House in San Angelo is a well-detailed example of late vernacular Victorian architecture built before 1908. It was occupied until 1920 by Wilbur Brown, a prominent local attorney, after which Paint Rock rancher A. H. Benge purchased it. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 as part of the San Angelo Multiple Resource Area.
