History
The Old Nazareth Academy in Victoria was built in 1904 as a fanciful two-and-a-half-story brick classroom building designed by architect Jules Leffland and erected by contractors Guithier & Mitchell. It housed the Catholic Nazareth Academy, whose school had opened in 1867, and served that use from 1905 to 1951. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
