History

The Levi-Welder House at 403 N. Main in Victoria was built in the 1860s by Abraham Levi, an Alsatian immigrant who founded the grocery A. Levi & Co. and the A. Levi & Co. Bank. The restored residence was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 9, 1986.
