History
The Hodde Drugstore stands on Main Street in the small German-Texan farming town of Burton. Built in the early 20th century, it served the community as a specialty commercial store connected to health and medicine before later conversion to a residence. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 as part of the Historic and Architectural Resources of Burton multiple-property listing.
