History
The Frank Kell House at 900 Bluff Street in Wichita Falls is a Classical Revival home built in 1909 for businessman Frank Kell, a partner with brother-in-law Joseph A. Kemp in grain milling, banking, real estate, and railroads. Designed by the firm Jones and Orlopp, it remained with Kell descendants for over 70 years before opening as the Kell House Museum in 1981. It holds Wichita Falls, state, and National Register landmark designations.
